Craft Group

Our meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of the month from 7.30 - 9.30pm, generally upstairs in the village hall. No previous crafting skills are needed; any member can come along and have a go. We just like to have a fun evening, trying something new. The cost is about £4.00 depending on the event. The £4.00 includes hall hire, materials and coffee and biscuits. There is sometimes an extra charge if materials are more expensive or we have an external demonstrator. Notice will be given about anything extra (e.g. scissors) which you may need to bring.

CRAFT MEETINGS IN 2023
At our November Craft Meeting we all made fun Gonk and Clown tree decorations.

At our September Craft Meeting we all made Glass Votives. The picture shows just how effective they are when lit up.

At our July Craft Meeting Ruth showed members how to make bowls from yarn.
At our May Craft Meeting members tried their hand at Glass Fusion, we had some lovely results.

At our April Craft Meeting our members enjoyed making Crepe Paper Flowers.
At our March Craft Meeting over 20 of our members had a lovely evening making Hand Tied Rag Wreaths. These were very straightforward to do and we had wonderful results. Some members made red, white and blue wreaths to celebrate the upcoming Coronation of King Charles, whilst others used colours to celebrate Spring. A very enjoyable evening, thank you Ruth.

At our February Craft Meeting members made Felted Beads and created some very attractive necklaces and bracelets.
